Welcome to Tierfreunde Kreta e.V.

We are a recognised charitable association whose mission is to relieve the suffering of animals and find new homes for abandoned cats and dogs.

Thanks to our Cretan and German helpers, together with your donations, we have been able to take in many stray, abandoned and injured animals over the last few years.

We have sucessfully set up feeding places for street dogs and cats, thereby feeding stray animals and providing them with veterinary care. For the poorest of these animals, you can sign up for sponsorships.

As well as money and gifts, we particularly appreciate flight helpers who can assist us in transporting rehomed animals to Germany.
 
Many successfully rehomed animals are proof that our work must continue!
 
In our “Give me a home” section, you will find pictures of our strays who are looking for a place on a comfy sofa in a loving home.
