Pet adoption

Under this category we want to present animals to you who were born on Crete, but did not have a chance to lead their lives in dignity there because they were abandoned, hit by a car, tortured and mistreated, discarded in trash cans or tied to a peg in the wilderness, left there to die.

All of these animals were lucky to have found shelter at Silke Wrobel's home. She did not only vet the often severe physical wounds of these animals and  feed them – if necessary around the clock – but she also gave them love and affection for the first time in their lives. For this reason most of these animals – in spite of their sad past – are optimally socialised,  they get along well with other animals, are confiding and do not have any problems when interacting with children.

Thanks to our common commitment we can take many animals to Germany and find new homes for them with people who will love and respect them.

For animal protection knows no borders. In times of globalisation people move closer together and in times such as these it is also animals from Germany, the EU and of course from all over the world who have a right to be respected, helped and loved by us.

There are, however, also some animals who cannot be taken to Germany because they are too ill, handicapped or disturbed to be adopted by anyone. But these animals want to live too. And in order for them to be able to live we need your help: you can become a sponsor for individual animals who we wish to present to you in the following pages. Please help, choose an animal for whom you wish to donate and make it YOUR sponsor animal. We will inform you on a regular basis about your animal's well-being and state of health.
